The guy's latest films seemed to have missed the mark [*cough Dodgeball], and it now looks like he is trying too hard to be funny. Luckily, we have two films with Vince Vaughn that will allow him to be his old self. The first film is Mr and Mrs Smith, which he plays a friend to Brad Pitt's character, and the second film is The Wedding Crashers, a comedy that has Vaughn co-starring with Owen Wilson. This film looks hilarious and just released its first full poster today!

The Wedding Crashers is a film about two guys, played by Vaughn and Wilson, who have discovered the number one place to pull easy chicks-- weddings. John Beckwith and Jeremy Klein are pretty smooth with the ladies, so they develop a plan to not only crash Wedding receptions, but to also be the life of the party. For each wedding the duo takes on fake names and personalities to try out on the girls. However, things soon get difficult when John [Owen Wilson] falls for a bridesmaid [McAdams] who is the daughter of the Secretary of Treasury [Christopher Walken]. Yet Wilson isn't absent from the quirky comedy, in which he plays a man who may be the long-lost son of Bill Murray's titular oceanographer.
One tradition, at least, is intact. Zissou is an oceanogapher-filmmaker, but hasn't had a hit for a long time and is watching his career hid the skids. On his most recent expedition, his best friend Esteban (Seymour Cassel) was eaten by a huge jaguar shark or, as is repeated throughout the film, 'whatever it is.' That would be enough to break the strongest of men, which Zissou is not. But he's also still in love with his ex-wife Eleanor (Anjelica Huston); is at odds with another oceanographer-filmmaker, Alistair Hennessey (Jeff Goldblum), who was also once married to Eleanor; and is rocked when a fellow named Ned Plimpton (Owen Wilson) appears and announces that he may or may not be Zissou's son from a long-ago fling. 'Just some last-minute stuff. Titles and things. Simple stuff.' Simple? Don't bet on it. The 35-year-old director of 'Bottle Rocket,' 'Rushmore' and 'The Royal Tenenbaums' is famous - and beloved by his fans - for obsessing about every last detail. And his new movie, 'The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou,' out Friday, offers a much bigger scope of things to obsess about.
The $50 million seafaring adventure stars Bill Murray as Zissou, a past-his-prime, Jacques Cousteau-type oceanographer on a quest to kill the shark who ate his best friend.
The crew - 'Team Zissou' - includes quirky Anderson regulars Owen Wilson, Anjelica Huston and (briefly) Seymour Cassel, as well as Jeff Goldblum, Willem Dafoe, Cate Blanchett and Noah Taylor.
Unlike Anderson's previous indie movies, this one also boasts big-budget features: pirate attacks, dynamite explosions and bizarre animated sea creatures such as back-flipping frogs, sugar crabs and jaguar sharks. Not by accident, Mr. Anderson's second movie, 'Rushmore,' also featured a Wolodarsky. He was played by one Wallace Wolodarsky, who is a friend of the director, as is Brian Tenenbaum, another pal, who appeared in Mr. Anderson's first movie, 'Bottle Rocket,' and who lent his name to the filmmaker's third effort, 'The Royal Tenenbaums.'
So the skein of Mr. Anderson's peculiarly inverted film oeuvre continues. This time around, Bill Murray - who played the industrialist heavy in 'Rushmore' and made an appearance in 'Tenenbaums' - looms large. As Zissou, Mr. Murray is an emblematic Anderson character, staring down extreme danger while remaining sardonically defiant. Anjelica Huston, another member of the club, is back too, as is Mr. Anderson's boyhood friend and frequent collaborator Owen Wilson."

Owen Wilson is 36 on Nov 18th

Nola.com: NewsFlash - Celebrity birthdays: "Nov. 18: Actress Linda Evans is 62. But he is really trying to exploit the mansion's grisly past to study fear in his subjects.
But, wouldn't you know it, the mansion really is haunted, and all sorts of nasty things begin occurring.
The Haunting got savaged by critics for showing, rather than suggesting, its horrors. The Robert Wise-directed black-and-white original was celebrated for never actually showing anything nasty, and being all the more scary for it. But if you let yourself go with the remake, it can be quite entertaining fun. And even scary at times. After a cameo in the Ben Stiller/Owen Wilson comedy Zoolander, Vaughn went on to share top-level billing with Luke Wilson in Old School. Vaughn's next big-budget project was the role of the villain in the Stiller/Owen Wilson parody of Starsky & Hutch. It seems as though Vaughn is now permanently part of that inner circle, as he will follow up the Ben Stiller film Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story with a movie that pairs him with Owen Wilson, The Wedding Crashers.

The film will be about two partying divorce attorneys who have figured out the jackpot method for meeting women -- they crash weddings. Though the guys have happy-go-lucky lives, that all changes when one of the two (Wilson) unexpectedly falls in love with a bridesmaid (Rachel McAdams). Things are complicated even further when our heroes discover that the object of Wilson's affection is the daughter of the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury (Christopher Walken). Not only is the man who brought us Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums reuniting with his regulars - Murray, Owen Wilson, Huston - and teaming up with new actors including Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum and Cate Blanchett, but he's got stop-motion animation sequences and an entire ocean to work with.

Anderson himself is hard at work overseeing the final edit of the film, but we managed to catch a few words with the very charming Barry Mendel, producer of the film and long-time collaborator of Anderson's.
